"We stayed one night in your beautiful Hotel, it was our first trip to Ennis as we were passing through on a roadtrip to Cork. Louise was so friendly and helpful on Reception. When we returned to the Hotel after a great night's entertainment at Paddy Quinns we were greeted by Michael the night porter who advised us to get a nightcap in the Bar,he then came to chat to us telling stories and jokes, making us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back, oh and thanks for the chocolates".

"Had another wonderful stay at Templegate Hotel. Friendly helpful staff. comfy bed in a room with all the necessary facilities. Very clean. Location is central with free car parking in front of the hotel. Great place to stay and explore the historical town but also a great base for west Clare. Had a meal one night in the Preachers bar and it was excellent. Fresh produce excellently presentec and great value. Breakfast could not be faulted either. Have stayed here on numerous occasions and each time I go back I know why! Top Class."
Fantastic Experience in a top quality hotel
My wife and I went to the Temple Gate Hotel from Thursday to Sunday. Package offered was 3 nights b&b and dinner on one night. Excellent value. The hotel is excellent and we were both very happy with our experience. Staff are top quality right through the hotel. Professional and helpful. They are an asset to this hotel and ensure that guests enjoy their time in the Temple Gate. Congratulations to management on their recruitment process. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. Bedroom service is excellent with attention to detail. Food was top quality both in Preachers Bar and Legends restaurant. Definitely would recommend both. One small disappointment was the fact that both had only a selection of 3 red wines on the wine list. However this is a comment and certainly not a complaint. The situation of the hotel is in the town making it easy to explore Ennis. Right beside Daniel O'Connell's statue. Fantastic hotel parking. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would strongly recommend this hotel. We definitely plan to return and enjoy another fantastic stay. Thank you to all the staff.
